Master Class 302B
The work at this level includes such steps as; Silent Reaction Breakdown, Character Body Language, Skeletal Drop Down, Primal Feelings of the Character, Creating Reality through Imagery and “Bull’s Eye”, and Reproduction of Physical & Emotional Actions. The steps are constructed in a way that teaches the actor to create the character’s reality that is not spelled out in the text. In short, a performance is created that no one else would be able to execute because the life of the character that the actor expresses onstage is comprised of all the elements that he has discovered and created for himself throughout the rehearsal process.
All final performances are held at the Promenade Playhouse where the actor’s showcase their craft to industry professionals.
Creating the One-Person Show
From the Concept to the Stage. An exploratory course where students work at their own pace to Find the Core of their Story. Samples of the students’ work are showcased and performed.
